Iraqi Kurdistan PM says new contracts with Rosneft negotiated
MUNICH, Feb 19 (PRIME) -- The Iraqi Kurdistan is in talks with Russian oil major Rosneft on new possible deals, Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani told PRIME on February 18.
“We have a contract with Rosneft and will continue economic cooperation with the company… We discuss new deals although have not come to any new agreements yet,” he said.
In February 2017, Rosneft and the government of Iraqi Kurdistan signed a contract to sell and buy oil in 2017-2019. In October 2017, they signed documents to put in force product sharing agreements on five local fields.
